A WebQuest
for 1º de Bachillerato (English lesson) Designed by Mª del Carmen Castro Rodríguez y Jesús Ledo Perdigón
Introduction | Task | Process | Evaluation | Conclusion | Credits | Teacher Page Spanish
youngsters have “open air parties” with a lot of alcohol every weekend. They meet
at a square, a street…to have fun while drinking alcohol. That’s their personal
way of entertainment and has become a philosophy of life for them. But why do
they like it? Do only teenagers drink at the street? How do other members of society
react to that? Do young people in other European countries have a good time this
way too? You
are going to research in order to answer these questions and compare the way the
Spanish young people spend their free time with that of our neighbours in You
must search for
information from any Spanish and British media: press, radio, television...
about the topic. Then, you are supposed to select some news that you find important.
In the end you will show the coincidences and differences you have
found between the Spanish and other
countries ways of having fun. For the presentation
of the final product you may need the computer and projector as tools in case
you want to show your work in power point or website format.
