WWP (WORLD WIDE PEOPLE) A WebQuest
for 2º de BACHILLERARO (ENGLISH LANGUAGE) Designed by LEÓN RUIZ
Introduction | Task | Process | Evaluation | Conclusion Have
you ever thought that another way of living is possible? In
this Webquest you are going to visit some WebPages
in order to get information and take conclusions about it. With the
information you find you will have to make a big mural, describing the people
(group) you have chosen. Use pictures and comments about them. The class will be divided
in two big groups. The first group (6/8 students) will
have to search and gather information about some tribes in Africa, in the
Amazon rainforest and Asia. The second group (8/10 students)
will have to do the same but about urban tribes in the so called
“civilised” society. Your will have to decide
the group/tribe you want to work on with a partner in order to make a small
collage which will be part of a big mural. This one will be the final result
of your work, first in pairs and then in group. Later on, and individually,
while the rest of the class is watching it, you will have to make some
comments giving some further information about the group/people you have been
working on. Finally, a summary about
80/100 words about this, should be handled to the teacher. If you want to know how
your performance will be evaluated. Go and check it in the Evaluation
section. 1. - Decide the group you want to belong to. 2. - Look for a partner to work in pairs and decide the tribe or group

you have finished. Look for a place and include it in the mural that will be
stuck on the wall. 8.- Show
your collage to the rest of the students and comment/explain it by
giving some further/additional information. 9. - Write
an essay expressing your opinion (for or against) about all or at least one

You
will be evaluated on an individual and group basis. As a

combined the information you have gathered. Individually, your comments,

into account.
