The Process
1. To begin with, letīs find out some background information on the artist and her work: *Go to Amy Winehouseīs web page and browse a bit; look for personal and family details, information on her career, musical influences... and listen to some of her songs. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION
2. Next, decide who is going to be the interviewer and who is going to be Amy.
2. Decide what media you are going to broadcast in and the type of programme it will be.
3. Do some BRAINSTORMING on the ideas you have for your programme... Click on the link and fill in the information...before you start working individually.
3. Now it is time for each one of you to get ready for your own role; you will have to look up information to play your role well.
4. Follow the instructions and tasks for each of the roles by clicking on the pictures below.Use the list of "Resources" that has been selected for your role.

5. After preparing for your role, collect all the information, pictures and music that could be useful for the interview.
6. Go over and analyse all the resources that you have chosen. Discuss with your partner what you have got, what you consider more interesting or relevant and how you are going to organise your work.
7. Although you can use the vocabulary and expressions from the links, you have to use your own words to write your script. Make it real, interesting, entertaining and...personal.
8. If you get stuck on ideas for asking and answering questions when you are writing your script, look this up!
9. Write the script using the word processor. You should also include some pictures from the Web. Keep it neat and clear...and be carefull with style and format.
10. And, last, but not least: RECORD YOUR INTERVIEW. You can choose the presentation, depending on the media ; but, bear in mind the possible technical difficulties if you donīt have enough experience with it.
* FOR A RADIO INTERVIEW: cassette tape, CD, MP3 file or other digital audio files.
*FOR A TV INTERVIEW: VHS or digital video format.
*FOR A WEB PAGE: Use a web generator, such as "FrontPage", "Dreamweaver", or use a wordprocesser that can save the document as a web page. In this case, link the script to the web page.
REMEMBER that you will have to report your final product to the class, so make it clear, efficient and, please, use standard audio and video formats. Finally...try it out before handing your work in!
11. Don't forget to read the "evaluation sheet" to know how your work will be asessed and marked.
