The
WebQuest model we are introducing here was designed and researched
in the context of second language teaching and learning (Pérez Torres,
2005).
The new feature
of this L2 WebQuest model, with respect to the original one, is a new critical
element: the direct instruction of language through the development
of a Language Workshop in which the student has to do several activities
related to those linguistic aspects that, in each case, are considered relevant:
lexis, syntax and use of English, as well as other activities that put
into practice learning strategies related to the language skills that students
should improve in each situation (reading, writing, speaking or listening).
